Finding your Flow in Winter

Updated: Dec 1, 2025

For most, winter demands a shift from outer to inner, from doing to being, and this shift, is not always easy.

Shifting from doing to being brings with it feelings that were not fully felt, during the 'doing' seasons of spring, summer and autumn. If Winter is the time to fully feel, or start to fully feel what we have been distracting ourselves from in the doing seasons, it is also a time to reflect and get creative, with our lives, and our Yoga practice.

Our Yoga practice is a safe space where we can begin to feel the feelings and move any stuck energy. We can find ways to soften and loosen our body, even during the harsh cold of winter. We can even find these soft and grounding qualities in our Vinyasa Flow Practice.

Vinyasa Flow doesn't always have to be speedy sun salutations, complex balances and inversions, we can come to the ground and flow through nourishing, opening postures at a steady pace.

We can use our Vinyasa Flow practice as an opportunity to connect, to ourselves, to our breath and to just being.

Expect more grounding and softening Vinyasa Flow sequences this December.

Book a Vinyasa Flow class now, as we stay warm and soften into ourselves for the season.
